Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is a substrate used for assembling various electronic components. This “substrate” can not only fix electronic parts, but also provide the required current through the designed circuit. Therefore, PCB is also known as the “mother of electronic products” and is an extremely important electronic part!
On December 30, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that, in response to an application submitted by the Indian Printed Circuit Association (IPCA), it initiated an anti - dumping investigation on printed circuit boards (PCB) originating in or imported from China. The products under investigation are limited to six - layer printed circuit boards, involving products under Indian customs code 85340000. The following printed circuit boards are not within the scope of the products under investigation in this case: 1. Printed circuit boards with more than 6 layers; 2. Printed circuit boards for mobile phone applications; 3. Filled printed circuit boards of various sizes.
The dumping investigation period for this case is from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 (12 months), and the injury investigation periods are from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, from April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 (15 months) and from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
